I owe a huge thank you to Leroy for bringing out the child in me, through my drawings. I have a huge thank you to my own Grandmother who always had a story to share. My dreams were like treasure chests, and I want to keep them alive for your families. The Books "THE MERMAIDS GO TO SCHOOL" and "THE MERMAID'S SCHOOL VISITS HAPPY POND" by Sally Jo Headlee are now on sale for only 12.95. Both books are full of illustrations, and individual coloring pages in the back. Sally Jo will also proudly autograph any of the books for no further cost. The next book that is burning in my heart will be titled "THE MERMAID'S SCHOOL VISITS THE SHARKS ROCK FARM" and as spring unfolds so will the new pages of this book. Molly the Manatee and her Grandson Mikie put together a plan to form a school. This school is dedicated to sharing all of our positive energy just like planting seeds in a garden. Young Mikie came up with the idea to invite all the mermaids across the World to be the Ambassadors on the land "THE MERMAID'S SCHOOL VISITS HAPPY POND" by Sally Jo Headlee "THE MERMAIDS GO TO SCHOOL" by Sally Jo Headlee Molly quickly built signs to inform everyone when and where the first school meeting was to be held. It was only a few short hours before the first classrooms were full and so much positive energy was spilling out from our oceans and spreading little seedlings one person at a time. This school is so very important, not only to inform people about the facts, but to give them some simple suggestions they can to do to help us make a difference. I want to take a moment to express my sincere thanks for all the prayers that you have shared towards my recovery. My personal medical battle has been tough, however the creatures that we love in the wild are suffering. Their battle is much worse in comparison, and I know in my heart if we all do one simple thing as a team we can make a positive difference in their well being. We so need to be the voice for these precious reefs, that are being killed, countless animals perish each and every day. It is clear to us it is not what is coming out of the ocean that is killing everything inside. Teaching captive raised propagation is on the top of our resolution list. The list starts with our commitment to share our research with all, from tank set up, to animal propagation, to starting a farm and then one of the most critical is to share our passion with all.

The wild reefs are in trouble. The only hope GARF can give them is one captive reef at a time, GARF will never shut up or give up. We need all of you to roll up your sleeves, to share as much information as you can, to teach all you can reach so that future generations will be graced with these remarkable animals that we have been so blessed to care for.
