Here is a 43 second Mpeg movie that shows one way that GARF propagates SPS. The size of the file is 2982KB and could take a while to download. SPSPropagation.mpg

Below are frames that show how the movie is layed out.

Individual frames

Cutting the frags

We use wire cutters to break the fragments from the brood stock. It is best to twist the pliers and not cut the frags.
Gluing the plug

We put the first drop of glue on the Reef PlugTM and then we harden it in reef water
Tools needed

We use GARF reef glue to hold the frags on the Reef PlugsTM until the base plate grows
A spot of glue

We use a piece of plastic to hold the drop of glue that we put on the bottom of the fragment

Glue on the frag

We gently hold the frag and then we drag it through the glue to apply glue to the broken skeleton
Frag on the plug

We then touch the glued frag to the Reef PlugTM and twist to blend the glue with the slightly hardened glue on the plug
Into the Farm-In-A-Box

We then put the finished fragment into a hole in the coral rack. This frag will be ready in several weeks.
